Results

In seconds, the program shows you the performance profile of each student and your class. It provides insights into individual strengths and potential weaknesses as well as those of the entire class. The profiles are presented in diagrams and numbers, allowing comparisons with previous evaluations. The performance curves of students and classes are available in an objective form. You can observe progress or deterioration in specific areas which facilitates goal setting in teaching. Ultimately, these evaluations serve as valuable resources for creating reports, discussing matters with parents or serving as progress records when used in dyslexia therapy.

Analysis

In addition to presenting performances on a graph, SYSPELL interprets performance profiles and provides recommendations for specific exercise series. Possible causes for error accumulations within individual categories are identified along with their consequences. Each spelling rule relevant to teachers is briefly explained while suggestions are given regarding revisiting certain modules (e.g., 'Vowels'), going through respective chapters in Guidebook again or starting with pre-course materials if children need additional opportunities to review developmental steps related to their (written) language acquisition - especially if they speak another first language - including rhythmic-dynamic pre-programming essential for learning language and writing systems.
